Acid wash.

“Describe an outfit you’ve worn that expressed the complexity of your gender.”

Acid wash ripped girl’s jeans, boy’s boxer briefs, chest binder, eyeliner, plaid men’s shirt.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

One Response to “Acid wash.”

When I opted out of the corporate environment, and became self employed – I stopped wearing women's underwear and started wearing boxer briefs. It wasn't a conscious decision – and I didn't realize the switch until well after the fact. I was just more comfortable in them, and didn't need to dress in corporate drag anymore. Sometimes we don't even realize what makes us uncomfortable until we're looking back on it.
