Can’t be classified into a pre-existing genre.

Someone wrote…

It pisses me off that if your music or your book can’t be classified into a pre-existing genre, then you’re an amazing person and all the reviews call you original and creative; but if you do the same thing with your gender, they just call you a freak.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?
