Profile: Alix
You can call me… Alix, but I’ll answer to Mars (among most anything else you can come up with)
I identify as… a biofem genderqueer
As far as third-person pronouns go, … i’ve only really gotten female ones, but i much prefer male.
I’m attracted to… intelligence, preferably if it’s carried in a girl’s body. I could easily go for other genderqueers too, though.
When people talk about me, I want them to… leave their ignorance on the bedside table when they wake up, and remember whatever they say, it’ll probably get back to me.
I want people to understand… that just because I go to an all-girls catholic school, it doesn’t mean that I’m any of the above. I just haven’t the heart to correct my parents.
About Alix
Mars is in eleventh grade at an all-girls school in Canada. He doesn’t appreciate wearing the skirts, but he loves all the friends he’s made there, especially those who use the right pronouns. He’s an artist of all sorts, and plays drums, though he’s not so musically inclined (talent-wise, anyway). If he could get one friendly message through, it’s that even if he chooses to wear makeup, and (god forbid) switches his bindings for bras on rare occasions, it doesn’t mean he’s automatically female.

Count me as one. Part of releasing ourselves from the prison of pre-defined gender roles is recognizing that accessories are just accessories. If a guy wants to wear make-up, or a girl wants to shave her head, they’re still who they are on the inside.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. ;)

:D thanks everyone,
@miko – i love falafel, and indie music haha
and my friend came up with mars, the astrological symbol for that planet’s the same as the biological symbol for a male (circle with an arrow coming out the side)
thats why people say men are from mars and women are from venus haha

I think that despite not being out to your parents, you are a very brave soul for daring to not fit the neat stereotype of trans. I was prone to wearing girl clothes even after I started hormones and had surgery. Now I don’t wear them at all because people will just think I’m a crossdresser (my body had changed a lot). I miss it and I think that if you enjoy it, its all that really matters. Don’t sweat the people that won’t understand.
