Pushing.

Someone wrote…

I hate that people keep pushing me into the ‘boy’ box, just because I’ve rejected the ‘girl’ box. I don’t want a box. Or I want my own.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

My problem is quite the opposite: I’ve rejected the “girl” box and identify as a genderqueer, but my gender presentation isn’t masculine enough for me to be perceived as male, so everyone assumes I’m female. =/
