It bugs me so much when people say they prefer “female” or “male” pronouns. Or even “gender neutral” pronouns. Pronouns are just words. Yeah, they can pack a punch in the wrong mouth, but they’re just words. THEY don’t have genders. It’s not a “male” pronoun, it’s “he/him.” It’s not a female pronouns, it’s “she/her.” I mean, who’s to say that I don’t prefer the male pronouns “she/her”?
