    A stunningly amazing visual reminder, and a reflection to the larger society of their short-sighted bigotry and cruelty towards those they do not understand, or refuse to understand. It reminds me of the 11th anniversary of Matthew Sheppard’s death. The mouth is bloodied and mute, yet it speaks more loudly than any words. Great job!

    I’m glad this photo has gotten good reactions! I actually sat on it for two months because I wasn’t sure how it would be received, but like Julian, I found it too amazing to ignore.
