Any less of a woman, any less of a man.

Someone wrote…

Saying I am a boy doesn’t make me any less of a woman. Being ‘female-bodied’ does not make me any less of a man.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

That makes me think of a great quote from the film/musical Rent: “It’s right that today’s Halloween. It was Angel’s favorite holiday. I knew we’d hit it off the moment we met. There was this skinhead that was harassing her… and she walked right up to him and said, ‘I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be – and more of a woman than you’ll ever get.'”

God I so identify with this, except switch out “female-bodied” and “man” for the other.

If there was a “like” button for this, I’d use it.
