At times.

Someone wrote…

Sometimes, all of this gets so frustrating. The reactions I receive, the misunderstandings and denial, the feeling of not knowing who is staring back at me with those big sad eyes in the mirror… At times, I feel it isn’t worth it.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I feel very much the same most of the time. But it does get better, and only forcing ourselves to have hope that it will, will get us to that point. Otherwise we may as well just give up.

the hope that someday you will look at the person who you are should keep you from giving up, because once you give up, you’re surrender any change of ever seeing yourself.

believe me, I’ve been there, on the verge of giving up just because it’s so hard, doubting that you’ll ever get there, I still feel like that that sometimes but the difference is that most of the time I feel damn proud of myself for what I’ve achieved, for not giving up on myself, so just hang in there, you’ll get there somehow, I promise
