FIRST TIME EVER.

GOT EARNESTLY READ AS FEMALE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER LAST NIGHT (granted it was at a dark bar and they hadn’t heard me speak yet but SHUT UP SHUT UP). Have been smiling all day.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

Congratulations. Now all you have to work on is being yourself without other people concluding that you’re being dishonest with them. There is nothing in gender transition that is easy, fun yes, scary yes, painful yes, satisfying yes, but easy? Nope.

I had a good friend who likened it to playing piano. At first you can’t play. Then you get better and some people think you can play, but it takes so much work to get to the place where those who can play think you can also play.
