The character of an epic life was etched in this face, giving her a brief vision of the distant lands and peoples these eyes had gazed upon. She was unnoticed, at first, but seeing this grand illusion reflected in her expression of wonder, she was dismissed from the mind behind those eyes and this mysterious figure strode off into her memory. After this, she often looked for this face in other faces that she met. She was, in just two words, a romantic and a fool.

The photograph reminds me of some pictures of Woody Guthrie from the 1930’s.
