No one thought it was odd.

Someone wrote…

The place I’ve found my identity as male most accepted and affirmed wasn’t a gay or genderqueer bar, wasn’t a trans support group, wasn’t anything like that. It was a doll shop. A temple to pink and cute and pretty, full of baby dolls that cost more than I’d ever spent at once. I was accepted as male there, still am. I bought a doll and got called “sir” and talked so much and no one thought it was odd that a young man would be buying a baby doll for himself.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?
