    Welcome to 1966, except for the pointy toes. If memory serves the lads were wearing positively square toed shoes the year Rubber Soul came out.

    Boys at school were also hassled about not having tie clips. I think that might have been more because the school sold these (I still have one someone gave me). A tie pin could be substituted, but not if you wore them in your ears.
