Profile: A.C.

AC

You can call me… A.C., that’s what they call me at work. Or by my last name, I like that too.

I identify as… trans/bi-gender/genderqueer/FtWTF.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I wish people would use “they” and “their” for me, but I’m afraid to come out because I’m scared of being judged by other people, including other trans people. So I just have people use female ones.

I’m attracted to… clever, witty people. If I could find a man like Benedick or a woman like Beatrice from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, I would be ecstatic. I’m a monogamous pansexual.

When people talk about me, I want them to… talk about how smart and witty I am, and not say a word about me physically unless it’s “you look nice today” whether I’m binding or not.

I want people to understand… It doesn’t matter if I wear jewelry or occasionally show my cleavage (I have dermals on my sternum); that doesn’t mean I’m not masculine. Just because I don’t bind every day doesn’t mean I’m not trans.

About A.C.
I live in Minneapolis and love going to shows. My favorite bands are The Faint, Bloc Party, Metric, Brand New, and the Doomtree collective, especially Dessa.

I don’t eat animals.

I agree with this^ Sometimes I’ll wear lowcut tops, jewelry, or even make up, [I’d be doing the same thing if I were bio.male] And I rarely bind. [lack of resources] but on those days people ask, “So are you a girl today?”

    Btw, you’re cute. I don’t eat animals either :]

I agree with you about not binding everyday. Just because someone’s outsides change doesn’t mean they have. :) Also your Star Trek shirt made me SQUEE.

You seem damned fantastic, my dear. I kinda really want to hang out with you, and geek out.

…And I have that shirt. Wore it yesterday. I always laugh when someone well-meaning and not in the know tries to give me a pep-talk about not being expendable.
