Caitlin

You can call me… Caitlin or Cal.

I identify as… A genderqueer biofem polyamourous lesbian gentleman.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … Most people use she/her, but “he” makes me giddy.

I’m attracted to… Androgynous ladybois, butch dykes, and the occasional nerdy quiet boy.

When people talk about me, I want them to… see that I’m not just another girl. That just because I have girl parts doesn’t mean I can’t be a fancy gentleman.

I want people to understand… that gender isn’t just boy/girl, part-based. That gender is fluid, and to respect how people want to be addressed when they are presenting as a different gender. Or as not having a gender.

About Caitlin
I’m 17, a cartoonist, and Olympia, WA is my hometown. I like music that not a lot of people have heard of, and my life’s dream is to backpack through France.

I think I love you. This is exactly what I was thinking when I got on. My “best friend” just told me that I’m mentally ill for being queer.

Piffle! They’re jealous that they don’t have the je ne sais quoi of us queers. :)

@Quince: I’m a psychology major, and I know the three criteria for determining mental illness; and you, Sir/Madame/Both/Neither are definitely NOT mentally ill. Be yourself and love yourself, because you’re beautiful!

I really really like this. Scratch off the polyamourous lesbian part and put in pansexual scholar, and you’ve got me!
    :D Hurrah for genderqueerness.
    You’re adorable.
