Recommendation: Red Durkin live at Port Angeles
A reader recommends…
Stand-up comedy
Red is one of the few people I follow on youtube, mostly because she is hilarious and keeps it real. Recently she went on tour with the Tranny Roadshow, and some kind person put this up on youtube. Red talks about life as a transwoman, offers the audience a metaphor they might want to use in their lives (but only if they find it useful!), and is just generally all kinds of awesome.

She is FABULOUS. I think I saw another of her videos before, and I *love* her to *pieces*.

I love her humor. So many trans people take themselves so damn seriously. They need her to poke fun at us and our situation. Laughter is so liberating. I only wish I could get to to come to my home for dinner.
