Equal Parts

Someone wrote…

I am both/neither/between boy and girl. I am equal parts dude and chick, bro and lady.
When someone asks me M or F, I just say “Yes”.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I’ve got lots of labels in me, too. For a while I thought I was a man and for a time I was sure I was a woman. I was wrong on both counts, but I remain a human being – a person of substance and caring. That is a person worth fighting for. So many people waste so much time and effort trying to become the things they have labelled themselves. Sad waste of great potential. My gender is only a part of who I am.
