Gender like Wind

Someone wrote…

Among other people, my gender weaves between feminine and masculine based on how they behave. By myself, I am genderless. That feels like wind: tangible, even if it is something I cannot see.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

oh, man! I do this all the time! I think of my gender kinda like silly putty sometimes. I’ve seen people do this with accents and speaking…I figure genders and femininity/masculinity is just another facet of human behavior.

I am at the confluance of many rivers. Some have a masculine character, so called, some a feminine, so called. I am just me, in my own eedies and currents, constantly changing and chaneless. You may swim deep in me and never find a bottom or you may see the world reflected on me, but neither the depth nor the relfection is me. I am just an ordinary human, lost in a arbitrary world, just like you.
