HAIR!

Someone wrote…

The outward sign of my gender complexity is my HAIR. A-line bob, colorful, teased, and big with bangs while wearing a traditional shirt/tie/slacks. This is me daily! I enjoy challenging the norms and making people question what they see and “know”.

What’s your experience?

    Yes, the hair is misunderstood very often. Women have to defend themselves too often, when their hair is deviant from the norm.

    I would like to respectfully suggest that males also have to defend themselves when wearing a hairstyle that isn’t gender stereotypical.
