Profile: Ace

You can call me… Ace.

I identify as… Well, I’m technically intergender. I have Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, and was raised as a girl, but I don’t personally identify as genderqueer (plus it sounds really cool to say I’m a GQ).

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I like “they.” English has some shortcomings in neutral pronouns, and I don’t even mind “it,” but most of the time people refer to me as “she” or “her,” and I’m too lazy to correct them.

I’m attracted to… everyone and everyone! Seriously, everyone is physically attractive to me, but especially fellow genderbenders. My partner is a cisgendered male, but that doesn’t mean he’s an unmoving pillar of manliness.

When people talk about me, I want them to… understand that gender has nothing to do with my identity at all. I like what I like, and what’s inside of my pants has no bearing on anything in my life other than what extremely boring people think of me.

I want people to understand… that I like fielding questions about my gender and sexuality. How else are people going to learn about others if they don’t have meaningful conversations with people different than themselves?

About Ace.
I’m a vegan Straight Edge work-in-progress riot Grrl/boii. I am not afraid of sexuality and am open to discussions all the time! I have ridiculous fetishes for tentacles, rocks, glasses, and mythbusting.

Um… the first paragraph doesn’t make sense… it sounds cool to say you’re a GQ but you *don’t* personally identify as genderqueer?
