Profile: Taco

You can call me… Taco, Cora, Randy. Sir or Ma’am, Lady or Mister.

I identify as… an in-between. Bigendered and a little stuck. An obsessive fandomite with a love of ties, art, theatre, writing, and Shakespeare. A chunky boi and a curvy femme. A crossplayer and a cosplayer. Mostly though, I’m me.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … being where I am, I’m still getting a lot of she, so I can’t say I don’t like it. Sir and he make me extremely happy, though.

I’m attracted to… the people that intrigue me. Artists. Actors. The unafraid. Androgynous of any gender. Boxers and fishnet thigh-highs. Men in corsets, ladies in suits. The fun and fantastic.

When people talk about me, I want them to… try and see beyond the all girls’ school, Southern upbringing and see me. That used-to-be-girl who’s embracing his inner man. I’d rather they’d see me for the parts I play – be they male, female, or otherwise – or the things I write and not what happens to be my past or under my shirt.

I want people to understand… I’m in a period of transition. I’m not comfortable being completely me all the time just yet. That doesn’t mean I’m lying. I’m as male as they come, I just can’t be all that how I want to be yet. Let the flower grow a little more before you expect the petals of truth, people. Or better yet, while you’re waiting, give me a better metaphor.

About Taco
18, single, and a little bit crazy. A Hufflepuff to the core. Theatre is my lifeblood, whether I’m backstage or onstage, reading the plays or singing them.

Photo is a Doctor Who cosplay of the Tenth Doctor from Halloween 2010.

Well, sir, I must say that your profile has made me smile, in the best way possible. You make a great Ten. I attempted Nine this Halloween, but it wasn’t as fantastic as I would have liked. It seems like the two of us would have been fast friends, had we gone to school together and whatnot.

By the way, Ravenclaws are much smarter. ;)

Reading this post I haaad to make a comment to a fellow Hufflepuff! A terribly underrated house, haha. And I agree with Kitt above, you make a fantastic Ten! That, and you sound completely awesome in general. :D
