Recommendation: If I Could Be A Woman

A reader recommends…

this has really left me speechless, so there isn’t much that i can say. it put me through the full spectrum of emotions in just over two minutes. i really don’t even know how i feel right now but i do know that more people have to see this. it is beautiful, pure and simple.

I thought the video was quite moving. Then I read started reading the comments, almost all of which were really hurtful. Transphobia is alive and well, alas.

The video was absolutely, heartbreakingly beautiful, but I’d recommend anyone with any hope for humanity to stay far away from the comments. They’re possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in a very, very long time.

I am a 57 year old person with Cerebral Palsy and I’ve started as a teen to wear fuzzy slippers and later other femiine clothes.

I’ve kept this secret à long time but I can’t anymore

I feel like screeming who I am
