Recommendation: Rainbow Brite and her horse Starlight

Starlight was a delightfully Queer character in the 80’s cartoon series Rainbow Brite. I had a picture of him on my Trapperkeeper and once got in load of trouble for telling my teacher I was his boyfriend.

O my god!!!!! I freak out…. I remember having listened to these stories in my childhood….long forgotten…..the old tapes must still be in an old box somewhere in my mothers house….that is so great…you made my day right now, thank you very much!!!!! I loved Rainbow Brite, well, in german her name was Regina Regenbogen, and I had tapes and dolls and everything….it is so sad, that these lucky times where I was just me and just a Kid are over, but it feels great to remember it. That shows me that not everything was bad….I have been queer back then as much as I am now!!! This somehow brings some identity back that I`ve lost these days…THANK YOU!! (I know that sounds silly, but I grab everything I can get these days to justify and identify…)
