Thoughts from an Open Mind:
Someone wrote…
Just because I am a heterosexual male who self-identifies as a man, doesn’t mean that everyone else has to do the same.
What’s your experience?

I honestly think it is people like you, allies, who will change this society for the better. It’s lovely to be a gender nonconformist, and try to educate people, but we are nothing without our allies. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. When I meet people like you it restores my faith in cis-gendered humanity.

Sometimes I wish that whenever LGBT issues are mentioned on TV, they’d say “LGBTQ people and their Allies!”
You guys are just as much a part of us as we are, even if you’re “Normal” (worst word ever, I know- “Normal”

Universality is the principle that whatever rights and responsibilities I claim for myself I must demand for everyone else. It is the principle that 95% of so-called conservative self-identified moralists fail to understand.

And, somehow, so many people cannot seem to understand that. None of the cisgendered straight boys at my high school seem to be able to see past the tip of their own nose.
