    Mine had the same thing, so I had to ask him if he really meant gender and explained that I was non-binary. He listened without any judgment and told me to write whatever makes me most comfortable. He isn’t even a gender therapist! It was nice, to say the least, and made me confident that I was going to like him right off the bat.

    good for that therapist – it’s not we who should be having the ‘gender issues’ – THEY need to get over it!!
