I Am More Complex

Someone wrote…

I’m not a woman with facial hair and neckties, and I’m not a man with breasts and a vagina. I’m a little more complex than that, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

i recently started a blog about all things androgyny (http://modern-androgyny.blogspot.com/), and through its recent developments it’s got me thinking a lot about the complexity of gender and its connection, or non-connection to a person’s biological sex. i think it would be great if everyone could just say, “i’m a little more complex than that.”

I like to think that gender, and gender, is just a tiny little piece of who and what I am. I find people who are defined by the gender rather boring.
