Very happy about this ad campaign. In addition to promoting respect for trans* people, it has racial, body size, and gender diversity–all five posters, for people who haven’t seen them, are found at http://colorlines.com/archives/2012/09/dc_lauches_first_ever_transgender_respect_ads.html and other fun places on the internet. :)

This is key. I echo Cameron’s note that the campaign is sensitive to race and body size in addition to gender. That’s taking many steps at once. *Bonus points* But I’m very interested in how DC-ers react to the posters.
