Sometimes I feel so confined with what I am supposed to be that I don’t know what I am meant to do with what I feel inside.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

    Yeah, I think I know what you mean. Or something similar anyway. Sometimes it’s hard for me to separate out what I’ve been taught to feel from what I really feel. When I look back at feelings I used to have, I wonder if they were pushed down by the dominant culture or if I moved away from them on my own. Sometimes I can’t even tell if I’m (mostly) straight because I convinced myself to be or because I am innately so.
