My voice

Someone wrote…

I like my voice, even though it’s feminine, but I don’t like being assumed as female. I wish I could sound more androgynous and somehow still not change how I sound.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

this is pretty close to how I feel. I’m so satisfied with nearly everything about my gender, and I don’t dislike my voice, but when I USE my voice, people switch to calling me “ma’am” from calling me “sir.” And I want that to stop happening.

I don’t know if this is any help (like, I literally don’t know – can’t stream the video on my internet!) but I stumbled across this a while back, thought it might be worth sharing! x

Just a month or two of testosterone should drop your voice, if that’s what you want. I like my voice better now, I love the way it resonates in my chest and back…
