Shorter and Shorter

Someone wrote…

I’ve always identified as deeply femme but went into a hair salon a few days ago and kept asking the stylist to cut my hair shorter and shorter and shorter until there was almost nothing left. When I left I wiped off all of my makeup and couldn’t recognize my reflection in store windows. I went to my partner’s house and put on his dress pants and oxford shirts and cried. “Oh my god,” I thought to myself, “I am finally in my real body.”

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

Femmes can totally have short hair and come in all kinds of bodies :D

Or different clothes! Some of the most beautiful femmes I know have crazy hair and the weirdest, most unique fashion senses. Just because you’re femme, it doesn’t mean you have to be the stereotypical femme!
