copy past mustache

Submitted by footnote 851, the model.

“How seriously should we take childhood photos? Kids often draw mustaches and a pair of donkey ears on family photos. Why is that? What I tried to do was to make this photo more recognizable to me by adding a mustache, as a way of self-identifying with it once again. I wanted to take out the emphasis from the baby girl, curly hair and make a contrast with something else — the mustache (copy pasted from my own hair in another picture). It gives it a sort of balance, in my eyes.”
