Explanations

Someone wrote…

The hard part of realizing and accepting your own gender is trying to explain it to people who have never questioned theirs.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

ahh, and this is why I love the book Gender Outlaw by Kate Bornstein, and why I give it to people when they’ve never thought beyond the limits of “man” and “woman” and “masculine” and “feminine.”

What is a man? Are you really a man? How do you know? Do you think you feel exactly like all other men? Why or why not?

    etc.
