Free and full of possibility

Someone wrote…

I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever figure my sexuality out. I know that in contrast to the blindly-accepted binary, I am free and full of possibility — but some days, I just want to know what I want so I can get it. Maybe my ambiguity would taste better if it wasn’t my only option.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

Maybe you want your ambiguity? Maybe your ambiguity would taste better with a little salt and pepper or perhaps some Mrs. Dash? Perhaps this is actually a cosmic joke and there’s nothing to figure out at all? Perhaps you’ve absorbed too much queer theory and now you can’t get out of your head about it? I mean… it’s easier to get an answer if you ask a question. Also, it’s easier to “figure it out” if you stop listening to people like me who think they have it figured out.

Just know you’re not the only one out there who’s struggling to figure the same thing out. *looks at myself, disgruntled*
