Mirror

Someone wrote…

I wish I could wake up tomorrow and look on the outside, the way I feel on the inside. That would be great. Then I could walk out my door and say ‘Hey, I’m me, nice to meet you’. And maybe then, I could look in a mirror without feeling like I’m looking at a stranger.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

If you let the inside outside, you are in a way vulnerable and in another way you are immune. Because you describe and define yourself you are at the mercy of no one. It all lies in how you choose to see things.

The only time I look into the mirror and see a stranger is when I am strange. At times like that, I say pleased to meet you to whoever is in the mirror and go on.
