Three Cheers!

Someone wrote…

Once I figured out that there is a big difference between erotic and sexual, everything made perfect sense.

I am a very erotic person, just not all that sexual. Sex is in my head and my being but not necessarily in my bones: it’s more that I love the idea of it rather than actually doing it. But there is a whole surprise-filled grey zone in there, and the degrees of actually wanting to be sexual with another person depends a lot on the erotic configuration, which can be very elusive.

Three cheers to the erotic!

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

This really resonates with me. Thanks for sharing! I wish we could compare notes, because “elusive” is an understatement :)
