Someone wrote…

I wish people didn’t assume that they know my gender just because of the way I express myself. I would love it if they asked me how I identify.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

    That’s exactly how I feel. Though I suppose putting myself in someone else’s shoes, it’s hard to remember to ask all the time. The modern world is so afraid to offend and so used to assuming that they no longer bother to stop and do so. This kind of thing really takes a lot of trying to understand on either side.
