Liberation

Someone wrote…

Realizing I wasn’t a girl was one of the biggest events in my life. I thought I was for years because everyone told me so, never thinking there was anything else I could be. I always knew there was something off about it all, I never felt right trying to fit into that.

Now that I know I’m not a girl, or a boy, I feel like I’m just a person, and it’s such a liberating feeling.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

One Response to “Liberation”

Thank you for sharing. Being non-binary can be tough, but very liberating as well. I’m FAAB but I’ve always had some sideburn-growth on my face. Before, I saw them as something wrong and shameful. But when I realized I was non-binary, I started loving them as a part of me. It was a very liberating feeling.
