Recommendation: Is Anatomy Destiny?
Someone recommends…
TEDxNorthwesternU: An Educational Video
Alice Dreger works with people at the edge of anatomy, such as conjoined twins and intersexed people. In her observation, it’s often a fuzzy line between male and female, among other anatomical distinctions. Which brings up a huge question: Why do we let our anatomy determine our fate?

I really, really dislike Alice Dreger, and most scholars who make their living studying/theorizing about groups they’re not a part of.
Alice Dreger has multiple times lent her support to the pop-science book “The Man Who Would be Queen” by Michael Bailey, which I think is a completely disgusting, homophobic, sexist, transphobic, and transmisogynist book. Alice Dreger makes me really upset and I think it sucks to see her name on Genderfork.
