Unisex skirt from Minneapolis

“Submitted by Joe, the model.”

“This is a unisex skirt I’ve designed. The photo was taken by my spouse on the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I started getting interested in skirts for men and unisex/androgynous clothing in general a couple of years ago. After not finding too many skirts out there that fit what I was looking for – heavy fabric, lots of pockets, modern – I began creating one.
I’m working under the name Skirtcraft, and am hoping to have a crowd-funding campaign for the first production run later this year.”

What a great idea! It’s about time a skirt was out there that anyone could feel comfortable wearing and which had a little bit of practicality to it with a pocket or two. Good luck with it Joe!

I’m a trans woman, and quite femme. But my thick camo skirt is a life saver.

Why not, lots of societies throughout history featured men in skirts. Why should only female identified persons get to have all the fun? It’s time it was brought back ;)

This is fantastic! Are you designing anything else? Hailing from Minneapolis and would love to see more!

Thanks, Vod! I also have a longer design, but its development isn’t as far along.

Newer pictures of the knee-length skirt.

I hope you will be successful around the whole world with your unisex skirt. And hopefully you have the support to produce much more of that.
Because its time now to show who has the skirt on.

Great idea but after finding Skirtcraft , I wish there was more choice. Great idea for hot weather , better that wearing sticky shorts or pants.
