I identify as… I was born a girl but have always felt I didn’t fit in, I’ve become more aware as I’ve got older about there not just being 2 genders. So I’m now searching and discovering who I am and what I identify as under the “genderqueer umbrella”. I might only be 13 but there’s no age restrictions on genders.
As far as third-person pronouns go, … I prefer they/he pronouns
I’m attracted to… Females but sometimes males, depending on their personality, style and interests.
When people talk about me, I want them to… I have not come out as genderqueer to my family or friends, I plan to do so soon. But in my mind I want them to respect that I’m not just a girl and I’d want them to see me as just as ordinary as they are, just because my gender is different doesn’t mean I should be thought of as abnormal.
I want people to understand… That who I am or anyone is, shouldn’t affect their lives, were the ones going through the disphoria and bullying. Respect that other genders do exist and not everyone is cis, respect everyone.
