Profile: Tristyn

You can call me… Tristyn

I identify as… Androgynous, fluid, agender. Sometimes I’m more feminine, sometimes fairly masculine. The rest of the time I’m nothing … or realistically I’m some degree of both but still feel like nothing.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … It doesn’t matter so much as long as you’re polite. My pronouns would change so often that even I have trouble figuring out which is correct today. I wouldn’t ask anyone else to try to keep up.

I’m attracted to… Male bodies generally. Sometimes masculine presenting women. Kind eyes, compassion, intelligence.

When people talk about me, I want them to… Sound like they aren’t judging me as harshly as I see myself and all my faults. Just accept me as human, flawed but doing my best.

I want people to understand… I know I can be difficult to figure out, I get lost there too. But I am not my hormones or my physical characteristics. I am mind and soul and heart. My gender is fluid but the person I am doesn’t change.
