To date everyone and be everything.

Someone wrote…

The more I think about it, the more I want to PRESENT as an effeminate gay man who is sometimes a drag queen. This really confused my therapist. I don’t know that I want to BE a gay man in the respect that I want to be a man that dates men: I definitely feel queer, and I feel like I don’t want to be man NOR woman. I want to date everyone and be everything.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I sooooo get this (I think). I definitely think of my gender/expression/presentation as “gay man,” although I wouldn’t say my gender is MAN or that my sexuality is just “gay.”

Hahahaha. Yeah. I feel this place. It’s fun for me, to know what I want to look like visually and then to feel like the space of my sexuality has a lot of room for playing around.

p.s. our therapists don’t know better than we do! we’re the authority on our own lives, always. <3
