Profile: Shauna

You can call me… Shauna, Sean, or a goofy spontaneous nickname

I identify as… gender-meh, with an occasional but vivid streak of gender-thespian. 90% of the time, I just…don’t even notice or care. 10% of the time I still don’t know what I am, but whatever it is, it’s flamboyant and turned up to 11.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I like variety! I hear “she” and “her” the most often, so those are my least favorite–they’re not offensive; just overplayed.

I’m attracted to… novelty. The weirder, the better–nothing piques my interest like a manner or quirk that I’ve never seen before. And I like strange ideas, especially if you can put them in horrifically purple prose.

When people talk about me, I want them to… focus on what the things I create rather than the things I didn’t choose.

I want people to understand… that the outlandish, extravagant side of me isn’t an act that I put on occasionally–it’s genuine, and I only /reveal/ it occasionally.

About Shauna, Sean, or a goofy spontaneous nickname
I’m a good poet, a decent artist, and a terrible musician. I’m into Latin-derived languages, artificial intelligence, Oscar Wilde, and spiritual syncretism. I can probably beat you in a rapier fight. Blues dancing is my favorite, but I can also do swing, lindy, salsa, bachata, and a moderately graceful waltz.
