I’m attracted to… people

When people talk about me, I want them to… Acknowledge the fact that I’m not a girl but more importantly know that being trans isn’t who I am. I am Alyssa who just so happens to be trans. Just like I just so happen to have a size 8 1/2 shoe.

I want people to understand… I’m forgiving and won’t get mad if misgender me as long as you know you made a mistake. Also that being trans is not the only thing about me.
