Seth

You can call me… Seth

I identify as… fluid, queer, sometimes bear, sometimes girly-boy (or, as my partner says, “fancy lad”)

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I’d be a little confused (but not upset) if someone used anything other than masculine pronouns for me.

I’m attracted to… androgyny tends to catch my eye, but I also like binary-presenting folks of various styles and flavors.

When people talk about me, I want them to… take me as lightly as I try to take myself. While I’m often very serious about expressing myself, I also recognize how ridiculous everyone can be in the right light.

I want people to understand… that identity changes not just over one’s whole life, but all the time. If my gender changes mid-conversation, that’s not so different from my political opinion or interest in the topic changing.

About Seth
I’m a gender-fluid computer programmer/researcher who loves camping and spinning around in flowered skirts. I find gender extremely interesting both from a personal and academic standpoint, but usually only have time and energy to devote to the former.
