Gender-playful clothing on the web?
Hey Everyone,
I’ve been getting nudges from different angles to talk more about where to buy good genderqueer clothing… but i’m not really sure where to send people. Can you recommend a few useful online stores?
Use the “Recommend” form and we’ll make a proper blog post out of it.
Thanks!

Goodwill, everything is found in every section, and most important, nobody cares what you're getting.
Also, it's fun to hunt for the perfect bit of clothing.

American Apparel has the best genderqueer clothing of any chain. All of their clothing is either unisex or "women's", but that's just a recommendation of course. They show most of their clothing on both female and male models, and a lot of their models are very androgynous.
This is my favorite marketing video from any company EVER. It's titled "unisexy":

There quite a few contest t shirt sites (my latest addiction) that print the winners on American Apparel shirts, though that's just regular old shirts. (for the curious, shirt.woot.com one, teextile.com is another. Oh, uneetee.com. And cameesa.com!).
It amused when signing up for one of those sites they had a gender category with the possibilities of "guy shirt" and "girl shirt".
