I identify as… a preppy/skaterish genderqueer boy with a side of femme. i disclose my parts to trusted few but my voice usually gives me away. grr.
As far as third-person pronouns go, … ‘she’ is tolerable, although i prefer to forgo the pronoun game altogether. even in queer spaces.
I’m attracted to… boys, bois, and folks along the masculine spectrum. although i surprise myself sometimes by being drawn to willowy feminine women and the occasional girlish gay (or extremely butch straight…not sure why) man. i’m really stumped as to why this ‘attraction thing’ is so important.
When people talk about me, I want them to… remember that I’m human, underneath all of the cues I’m giving you or that you’re that imagining I’m giving you. This means that I will surprise you as much as any straight-looking person you might meet with an open mind.
I want people to understand… that gender is paramount and peripheral, depending on how much you make it to me.
