Profile: Sharon
You can call me… Sharon. [Or Jaron. Or Ron.]
I identify as… a storyteller and a drag artist. A butch named Sharon when not in costume. Heels and makeup? I’m a girl named Sharon, queening. Binder? I’m Jaron, a baby trannyfag who’s scared of getting hurt. Binder and beard? I’m Ron, and he’s the frat-boy asshole we love to hate.
As far as third-person pronouns go, … I use the first-person; the third person is up to you. Most of the time I get “she,” but when I’m in a beard, I’d better be getting “he.”
I’m attracted to… my transman. More generally, wildly queer bodies that are usually butcher than I am and bear a frighteningly strong resemblance to my younger sister.
When people talk about me, I want them to… think that I’m cool. And talk about my work, and my brain, and my talent, and my funny stories. I want them to be impressed and infatuated.
I want people to understand… that I’m not always a girl. And that drag isn’t just “hulking men in dresses” or only RuPaul. I am a King, and I want to be understood as such.

I want a friend like you to push me over from andro to full out male. I’m pretty awful at getting myself to look at all masculine beyond ‘gay/emo boy’.
