why is my comment awaiting moderation? maybe it sounded too harsh. I do wish Sam all the best and I agree with his (or whichever pronoun you like:) physical beauty but the statement under the picture is just false complaining to me. Maybe I’m wrong but if comments like “wow” are allowed only just because the person in the picture is genderquuer then I’m not sure it’s the right message. Like, we are different, we can’t be criticised AT ALL. I also see myself as just a human and do want to be judged as a human.

We — the Genderfork team — felt your previous comment didn’t add constructive dialog and wasn’t conducive of a supportive environment, hence the deletion. And as a personal thought, to me the statement under the picture doesn’t seem like complaining at all. Also, there’s so many places where the message to genderqueerness is “you’re a freak” (not in a nice sense), so I’m very glad this is a space where people get a positive message instead, for a change! And I don’t think that means we cannot be criticised. I want to be seen as a human, and I’d like my faults pointed out to me, but I don’t want to be judged by others for not matching what they think a human should be like.

In regards to your comment, “Wow” is allowed because Sam’s hotness left me otherwise speechless. And I don’t know if Sam is genderqueer or not, they didn’t specify their gender identity in the comment, but I think the “Wow” stands anyway.
