Proffate

You can call me… Proffate.

I identify as… Genderqueer. I’m the king, the queen and in between!

As far as third-person pronouns go, … Anything goes. I’m happy to be referred to as a male but I always get a kick out of female pronouns. Just don’t call me an “it”!

I’m attracted to… People who are intelligent, kind, and on my wavelength. I make no distinction toward sex or gender.

When people talk about me, I want them to… Appreciate that I’m being true to myself by doing what I do — not rubbing it in people’s faces or trying to be a rebel. I’m just being me!

I want people to understand… I want people to realize that no one should have to “settle” on a gender. I identify as genderqueer because there are things I love about being a boy just like there are things I love about being a girl. Living my whole life as one or the other would just get boring!

About Proffate
I am an animator, illustrator and amateur musician who has been drawing since I was about three. I love expressing myself in any way I can; writing, drawing, puppetry, you name it. I guess it was only a matter of time before I began expressing myself in the way I dress and act as well.
