Profile: Scout

You can call me… Scout

I identify as… Smart. Queer. Geeky. Silly. An adventurer. A creator.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I’m okay with the feminine ones. The masculine ones terrify and excite me though. Right now I present as female, so I don’t get the Sir’s and He’s anymore. But when I did, it was both thrilling and shameful.

I’m attracted to… Brains. Hands. The smell of skin and of sweat.

When people talk about me, I want them… not to ignore me or dismiss me. To see me as a whole person. To be okay with what they don’t understand. To try not to make so many assumptions. To realize there’s more to everything than just what is on the surface.

I want people to understand… that people aren’t just what they appear to be. Everybody has their own baggage and dreams. Everyone is a full-fledged person, even when they don’t fit into an easily described category.

About Scout
I’m a design cowboy, I’m a wife, a dog owner. A geek, an artist, a dreamer. I live the small town american dream. I run my own business. Bake my own bread. Live a quiet little life in my quiet little house.
